House Portraits By Michael

First

Take photographs of your house. Be sure to take several overall images. Stand away from the house to show the entire house and include some of the surrounding landscaping. Perhaps take some at different times of the day, so the shadows and light on the house can be seen with different effects. Try to take photos with the garage and driveway not the main element—take them from the other corner of the house. Often images that show some of the side as well as the front are the most pleasing. Also, include some close-up images of elements of the house that you find especially of interest and pleasing—things like entry porches and doors, dormer windows and window boxes. These really help me add character and charm to the finished painting. Be sure to indicate which image is your favorite view!

Fill out the Order Form. You can do this electronically and email to me, or print it out and fill in the blanks on paper and then mail it:

Third

I will send you, by email, a scanned image of the finished painting for your review before sending it to you, so that you may make comments for minor revisions. It usually takes a few weeks from the time I receive your order and the photos to complete the painting and send the scan to you. Once you have approved the painting, it will be shipped to you matted and ready for framing!
